It is intended as a reference work for trainers and for anyone who leads practice groups on Non-Violent Communication. It offers plenty of material to browse through, look up and use directly in one’s own practice.

In the foreword, NVC trainer and author Frank Gaschler writes about how much creativity and joy in sharing can arise when training sessions focus less on the ‘how’ and more on empathetic interaction and collaborative learning.

The table of contents illustrates the broad spectrum covered by the book: Following an introduction and an overview of NVC, there are exercises on observation, feelings, needs and formulating requests, as well as exercises on self-empathy, deepening one’s capacity for empathy, self-love and inner attitude.
