Marshall Rosenberg on CD: Beyond Good and Evil

This recording takes you to the ‘Kollektive Intelligenz’ congress in Würzburg in 2006, where Marshall Rosenberg gave a talk recorded live by Auditorium Netzwerk. The talk is in English and the CD runs for 68 minutes.

Rosenberg focuses on the connection between people that allows everyone's needs to be heard. Through short stories, he shows what this can look like in a conflict: naming a clear observation, stating which needs are not currently being met and what feelings this prompts, and ending the conversation with a clear request.

Along the way, he touches on questions that arise time and again in everyday life: What would be the worst response in such a moment? What are two completely different ways of dealing with criticism? And how do we express gratitude and receive it?

Rosenberg concludes with his conviction that when we speak according to the principles of Non-Violent Communication, we find a solution because we can then see what is alive in ourselves and in others.
