This issue of Empathische Zeit is the last: 88 packed pages showing once more what was possible over ten years. As the world's only community magazine devoted to Nonviolent Communication according to Dr Marshall B. Rosenberg, it has reported on events, current research and developments in German-speaking and international networks, along with exercises, book recommendations and everything else that mattered to people interested in NVC.
This farewell issue explores, among other things, working through the coronavirus measures in empathy circles, the war against Hamas in Gaza and memories of the time when Marshall Rosenberg himself led workshops in Germany. It looks at celebration as a source of strength, the art of emotional regulation and systemic resilience. A treasure chest looks back at ten years and 37 issues, and the series ‘Die schönsten Irrtümer über die GFK’ reaches its final instalment here.
For the first time, the detailed training guidelines for year-long NVC groups are also printed here: the result of years of work by a working group of trainers, distilled by Al Weckert, Gabriele Lindemann and Andi Schmidbauer into a concept that can offer trainers guidance for their own workshops.
A magazine to return to and to say goodbye with, with thanks to all subscribers for ten years of loyalty.
