Living Puppets: Quasselwurm Giraffe

When this giraffe peeks round the corner, the first impression is immediate: enormous round eyes and an infectious smile. Living Puppets’ ‘Quasselwurm’ is surprisingly roomy enough for large hands too, so it is not a toy just for children’s fingers.

It works like a glove puppet: put one hand inside and its mouth opens wide straight away, while the tongue can be controlled separately with one finger. At 39 cm tall, with its wild mane, it makes quite an impression in a child’s bedroom, nursery group or classroom.

That is exactly where it shows what it can do: children use it to practise expressing feelings and needs, try out appreciative ways of relating to one another and learn through play how conflicts can be resolved.

Care instructions: the hand puppet must not be put in the washing machine or dry-cleaned. Small marks can simply be washed out by hand.
