‘Magic Field’ Mouse Mat

You may already know Magisches Feld as a floor mat for practising the NVC process or from practice groups. The same field is now available in a handy format for your desk or living-room table: as a mouse mat featuring the cheerful drawings of Swiss NVC trainer Sylvie Hörning.

It comes with game instructions and a wooden playing piece measuring 5 cm high. You use it to move through the four steps, to your thoughts, meaning interpretations, judgements and evaluations, or to your wolves: do you feel like fleeing, fighting, freezing or becoming invisible right now? Two giraffe spaces bring you back to empathy and self-empathy.

As a mouse mat, it is discreet and practical for everyday use: a non-slip, 3 mm cellular rubber base that works reliably with both mechanical and optical mice. The high-quality surface is made to last, and the colours are digitally printed. The field sits beside your keyboard, on the kitchen table or in a child’s room and doubles as a ‘quick check’: how am I right now, how are you, what do I need, what do you need? In difficult situations in particular, it is a practical thinking aid and also makes an original gift for NVC fans.
