Siegfried is the wolf among the hand puppets: large, commanding and decidedly opinionated. He is the alpha among lovers of judgement, specialising in statements such as ‘That is how it is done!’, ‘That is simply not acceptable!’ or ‘It is just common sense!’ When he opens his mouth, the room falls silent for a moment, even among participants who already have plenty of experience with the giraffe.
Siegfried speaks wolf language fluently: the language in which everything is constantly judged, compared and categorised as right or wrong, healthy or ill, clever or stupid. That is precisely what makes him so useful in Nonviolent Communication. He can be used to demonstrate what Marshall Rosenberg stressed time and again: behind every judgement lies an unmet need.
As a contrasting figure to the giraffe, he is well suited to role play in workshops and seminars, as well as to everyday educational settings, for example as the voice of the inner critic.
Siegfried is 57 cm tall, with a playable mouth and movable head. He is the most expensive hand puppet in our shop, but in return you receive the full package: plenty of expression, plenty of presence and genuine educational depth.
