Today I am

Mies van Hout was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in the non-fiction category with her picture book “Today I am”. Her drawings in bright oil pastel colors are magical, and these exact images are now available as an art card set: a high-quality box with 20 letter cards and envelopes.

A colorful fish swims on every card, and every fish carries a feeling: sad, in love, brave, content, angry, envious and much more. It's unbelievable how exactly these fish fit the mood.

The cards are ideal for working with groups, as an introduction to a seminar or as a refresher in between. You lay them out individually laminated on the floor and let the participants draw the card that most closely matches their mood. In this way, the players often come into contact with their actual needs in no time.

If you separate the folding cards, they become a memory on the subject of feelings, with pictures and words to assign. A tip for laminating: trim the cards minimally so that two of them fit on a DIN A4 film.
