Alongside commissioned work, she devotes herself to her own painting, including colour etchings and watercolours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe card was created as a result of Christiane Lesch’s collaboration with her friend, the NVC trainer Dr Gitta Zimmermann. Gitta gave her a list of quotes relating to the principles of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and left her free to choose which ones to illustrate. Christiane Lesch explains that these sayings struck a chord with her straight away. Both wanted images that were suitable for children and would captivate viewers of all ages with their vibrant colours. First, she produced many sketches; then the designs were set aside for a while, because – just like with yeast dough – sometimes pictures simply need to be allowed to develop in their own time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn total, there are 10 art postcards from Christiane Lesch’s studio, available individually or as a discounted bundle.
