GRP in Africa: Collier

This necklace is not a mass-produced item from a factory. It is made by students in Kenya, by hand, one piece at a time. When you wear it, you also carry a piece of their work.

The project is run by Netzwerk Gewaltfreie Kommunikation Darmstadt Südhessen e.V., which has supported the spread of NVC in Africa for many years. Sales of these pieces of jewellery contribute directly to the young makers’ livelihoods while also providing a donation to local NVC projects.

This necklace therefore brings together two things: a beautiful piece of jewellery and very tangible support for people working for Nonviolent Communication in Kenya.
